This page explains how Copper N’ Lead ships your order, where we can ship, and what to expect. In short, our ammo shipping policy is simple: fast processing, UPS Ground delivery and full compliance with state laws.

Order Processing Time

We ship most orders within 1 to 3 business days. However, orders placed on a weekend or holiday may take up to 3 business days to leave our warehouse. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information by email.

Carrier

We ship every order by UPS Ground, the standard way to ship ammunition safely and legally. Delivery time depends on your distance from our Miami, Florida location.

Shipping Costs

Orders over $200 ship free. For smaller orders, you’ll see a flat shipping rate at checkout.

Where We Ship: Our Ammo Shipping Policy by State

We only ship within the lower 48 states. As a result, we can’t ship to Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. territories.

In addition, state laws limit where we can send ammunition:

• States we don’t ship to: Some states, including New York, restrict ammunition sales so heavily that we can’t ship there at all.
• States that need documents: For New Jersey and Connecticut, we need a copy of your state ID and your concealed carry (CCW) license before we can ship. Your order won’t ship until we receive and verify them.

Laws also change, and some cities and counties have their own rules. So it’s your responsibility to make sure you can legally buy and own ammunition where you live. If an order can’t legally ship to you, we’ll cancel it and issue a refund.

Age Requirement

You must be of legal age under federal, state and local law to buy ammunition. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Returns Policy

For safety reasons, all sales of ammunition and reloading components are final. We do not accept returns on these items. Because of this, please double-check your caliber, bullet weight and quantity before you place your order.

If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t match what you ordered, contact us right away so we can look into it.
